I’ve written 2 best selling small press books (published by University of Hell Press) and undertaken one national tour (2013) of 50 shows in 70 days.

Both books are known for being bitingly witty, smartly written, and deeply personal.

Poetic Scientifica   2013. Written as an experiment, Poetic Scientifica is a one-poem book with a 90 page glossary, and explores the nature of how we create meaning from symbols and stories. Read a review.

Door    2016. Riffing off of Poetic Scientifica, Door is an entire book of poetry about one word, and explores how myriad cultural influences build meaning into everyday sounds and symbols in use. Press Release.

In late 2016, I started Pine Feather Press which published its first collection, COLLECTED: 10,000 pgs of R. Darris’ stunning journaling boiled down to a collected heartbreak of modern poetry.
