Creating Structure in a Consultancy

When introducing a design research arm to an engineering consultancy, I led internal communication and collaborated with adjacent teams to align the company around a more formal research-first process for strategy, design, and engineering projects. Within 4 months, everyone was excited about the new development process roadmap: Biz Dev teams knew how to sell the research, project teams worked together in the same experience doc templates, and managers leveraged checklists for what to expect–faster, more streamlined, and lower-stress work.
